Action in Language, Organisations and Information Systems

This paper presents a sketch of a specification language whose basic notion is activities taking place in special environments – habitats – designed to support these activities. The purpose of the language is to facilitate specification of pervasive technologies that are distributed in space, with special emphasis placed on their cooperative aspects.
